Community Relations is Looking for You!
 Saturday, December 8, 2018

The Northwest Human Resources Council Community Relations Goal is to position NHRC as a positive and good citizen in the community that serves our members.  We have identified WINGS as our community organization to sponsor.  WINGS is now one of the largest domestic violence service and housing providers in the state of Illinois. Single women, women with children and men are able to receive temporary safe shelter through WINGS housing.

One of the several ways that WINGS raises money to support their program is to sell donated and gently used clothes and items through one of their WINGS resale shops.   Clothes and items are sorted and price tagged at their Logistics Center.  However, they need volunteers to work at their logistics center in Elk Grove Village.

NHRC has committed to assisting WINGS at their logistics center in Elk Grove Village on Saturday, December 8, 2018.  We are looking for NHRC members and their children 10 years of age or older to sort clothes/items.  This is a great opportunity for you and your children to earn community service hours!  If you are interested, please send an email to Phil Perez-Vaughan, NHRC Community Relations Director,  [email protected] be sure to include your name and children’s names.

Or keep in touch via SMS messaging!
