Certification
The Certification Committee can answer questions on what it take to become certified. The committee also keeps members apprised of meetings and conference in the area to keep your PHR, SPHR or GPHR certification current.

Professional Development
The Professional Development Committee coordinates the Mentor Program for students at Northern Illinois University, DeKalb and Roosevelt University, Schaumburg. Program Committee
The Program Committee of the NHRC is responsible for leading the effort to identify topics and secure speakers for the 8 General Meetings from September through June. This committee works closely with the coordinator for the Employee Relations Roundtable sessions as well as with the Chair of the Forum.

Scholarship Committee
Scholarships available through donations from our members for their employees' children who are entering college and/or current junior or seniors in college, majoring in the Human Resources program. The Survey Committee reviews and send out surveys to our members on company insurance plans and HR practices within the industry.
