The Northwest Human Resources Council is proud to be a part of the exciting growth and development of industry and commerce in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. In 1958 a group of personnel professionals, representing local, private and public organizations, began to meet for the purpose of sharing information and discussing mutual human resource problems. As the group grew in numbers and recognized the value of networking, they established the name...Northwest Industrial Council. As of July, 1990, this name was changed to the Northwest Human Resources Council. Today the membership is comprised of approximately 160 small, medium-size and Fortune 500 companies. Our major activities include:
An ANNUAL WAGE, SALARY AND BENEFIT SURVEY presenting the most current and comprehensive computerized pay data relative to plant and office workers in the Northwest suburbs. These results are complimentary to participating members companies.
Frequent MEETINGS in various formats:
A College SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM awarding scholarships to sons and daughters of employees of member companies.
A CAREER SERVICES JOB BANK accepting job postings nationwide as well as resumes from human resource professionals seeking employment.
The Northwest Human Resources Council is a chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Our members feel strongly that NHRC has been an invaluable asset in enhancing the effectiveness of human resource professionals. We would like to give you the opportunity to utilize the resources of this active organization by joining us.
